The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a steady downstream pressure in one compact body. This size 200 unit has a 1/8 in NPT port, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a 40 um filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, a round psi gauge and a built-in check valve, and it is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200 to 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, and gauge choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding low-pressure pneumatic actuators on a packaging machine's gate and clamp cylinders, where the manual-drain bowl is bled at shift start and the round psi gauge shows the set pressure at a glance.
Conditioning the shop-air feed to laboratory test benches and pneumatic test rigs, filtering water and particles before the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle set pressure for sensitive instruments.
Point-of-use treatment at paint-booth air drops, where the 40 um element catches pipe scale and rust and the built-in check valve backs up the line when upstream pressure dips.
Size 200 with a 1/8 in NPT port suits compact lines; step up to 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports and more flow. The manual drain needs periodic bleeding by hand - choose the automatic-drain (A) or differential-pressure-drain (blank) version if the unit is hard to reach. The 40 um element is standard; order code W for the 5 um element where finer filtration is needed. The round gauge here reads in psi; an embedded square gauge and MPa or bar scales are options. Thread is NPT; PT (the standard) and G are order options. This unit has no mounting bracket (code J). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact configuration on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl and is bled by hand. If the unit will be mounted where regular bleeding is impractical, ask for the automatic-drain (A) or differential-pressure-drain (blank) version of the GFR200 instead.
