The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 with Round Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200-06T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one compact body. This 200-size unit is threaded NPT1/8 (1/8 in), carries a 40 um standard filter element, and uses a manual drain, so condensate is released by opening the drain valve by hand. It is fitted with a round pressure gauge reading in bar, and the standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of thread (PT standard, G or NPT as options), drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), gauge style and scale, bracket and reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for a machining centre's pneumatic actuation circuit: clean, dry air and a stable regulated pressure feeding clamps, tool changers and air-powered ancillaries on the machine.
Feeding the air cylinders and grippers on a carton-forming or case-packing conveyor line, where the 40 um element protects directional valves and the regulator holds consistent cylinder pressure.
A compact filter-regulator drop at a bench or cell in a light assembly plant, conditioning the air for hand-held pneumatic tools and small actuators right where the 1/8 in branch is tapped off.
For this model the decodable choices are fixed: 200 size with NPT1/8 port, manual drain, 40 um element, standard regulator, round gauge with bar scale, no bracket and no reverse valve. When selecting within the GFR range, step up through sizes 200/300/400/600 and the matching port sizes as your air demand grows; choose the 5 um element (code W) where finer filtration is needed; pick automatic or differential-pressure drain where manual draining is impractical; and select the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) that suits your panel. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as orderable options, and a bracket can be added for panel or wall fixing. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing data from the datasheet on request before you order.
This GFR200-06T is coded M, meaning a manual drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is released by opening the drain valve by hand, which suits stations that are checked regularly. Where manual draining is impractical, GFR units can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain that is the default, with the same 0.05-0.9 MPa regulation range on this configuration.
