The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4, 5 um, psi gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a size-200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with a 1/4 in PT port, a fine 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain in the PC bowl, a round external gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse/check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost. No mounting bracket is included (code J). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamps and fixtures on a machining cell where the 5 um element protects tight-tolerance cylinders and the check valve holds clamp pressure if the main supply drops.
A regulated, filtered 1/4 in drop feeding diverters, sealers and small actuators along a packaging conveyor, with the psi gauge letting operators set line pressure at a glance.
Conditioning air at the wall drop for a spray booth: the 5 um grade keeps water and particles out of the finish while the regulator holds a steady gun pressure.
Start with the size and port: size 200 with a 1/4 in PT port suits lighter point-of-use drops; step up to sizes 300, 400 or 600 when the line needs more flow. Choose the drain to match maintenance: differential-pressure (this unit) drains only while flowing, automatic suits unattended installations, and manual suits periodic checks. Filtration is 40 um standard; this unit carries the 5 um fine element (W) for sensitive downstream equipment. Gauges are embedded square as standard or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit has a round psi gauge. Threads are PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; a bracket (J = none) can be added, and K adds a reverse/check valve.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we cannot quote a rated flow here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
W is the fine 5 um filter element (the standard grade is 40 um), and K means a reverse/check valve is fitted, which holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. This unit also uses the default differential-pressure drain and has no mounting bracket (J).
