The AirTAC GFR200-08G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, Square psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This 200-size unit has G1/4 (BSPP) ports, a 40 um standard filtration element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough - no daily manual draining needed. The fitted embedded square gauge reads in psi, so you can set and monitor outlet pressure at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, an optional 5 um element (code W), MPa/psi/bar gauge scales, and G or NPT thread variants. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Start with the size and port: the 200 series with 1/4 in ports suits lighter-duty circuits, while 300/400/600 sizes carry progressively larger ports and higher flow - match the step to the air demand of the circuit rather than oversizing on guesswork. This unit uses the differential-pressure drain (the default), which suits most steady-running installations; choose automatic drain (code A) for unattended duty or manual drain (code M) where you want full control. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is G (BSPP) as coded, with PT and NPT variants orderable as specifications. A mounting bracket is included.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number. Tell us your application - working pressure and the air consumption of the equipment it will feed - and we will confirm the correct size and the flow figures from the datasheet on request.
This configuration uses the differential-pressure drain, the default option: it discharges collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the filter element rises. If your installation runs unattended or at low duty, you can instead order the GFR200 with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M). Note the regulation range differs by drain type: differential-pressure and automatic drains give 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), while manual drain extends the low end to 0.05 MPa (7 psi).
