GFR20006MC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT 5 um

The AirTAC GFR20006MC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR20006MC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT 5 um

The GFR20006MC1WT is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in one compact body. This configuration is built with a 1/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual drain for controlled bowl evacuation, a round pressure gauge scaled in MPa, and a polycarbonate bowl. It takes a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), regulates from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and bracket choices. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR20006MC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT 5 um

GFR200G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range.
06Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4".
MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
1Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
WFiltering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

Size Class

  • GFR300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GFR400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GFR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR20006MC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT 5 um Is Used

valve

Pneumatic valve actuation skid

Clean, regulated air to solenoid valves and actuators on a process skid: the 5 um element helps keep valve seats free of particulate and water while the regulator holds a steady setpoint.

precision_manufacturing

CNC machine pneumatic circuits

Air prep for tool clamps, chip doors and air blasts on a machining centre - a filtered and regulated supply at the machine drop, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled maintenance.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line point-of-use supply

Point-of-use prep for sealing jaws, vacuum generators and diverters on a packaging conveyor, where a compact 1/8 in filter regulator sits right at the drop.

Is the GFR20006MC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT 5 um the Right Unit?

Size and port: the GFR200 is the smallest step in the GFR range, here with a 1/8 in NPT port; step up to GFR300, GFR400 or GFR600 for larger ports when your line needs more air. Drain: the M code fits a manual drain, so the bowl is emptied by hand on a schedule; choose an automatic or differential-pressure drain code if you want the bowl cleared without attention. Filtration: the W code fits the 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um - pick 5 um where downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. Gauge: the C1 code adds a round external gauge scaled in MPa (psi and bar scales are order options). Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, while G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options, and this unit is ordered in NPT. A mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your air demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR20006MC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT 5 um FAQ

AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your air demand and line pressure and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.

The M code fits a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by hand on a schedule instead of automatically. It suits points where someone is already at the machine for routine maintenance; choose an automatic or differential-pressure drain code where the unit is hard to reach.
