The AirTAC GFR20006MLC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20006MLC2G is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This 200-size unit is built with a G1/8 (BSPP) port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, and a standard 40 um filter element. It is the low-pressure type, intended for circuits where the regulator is set in a lower adjustment range, and it carries a round external gauge reading in psi. A mounting bracket is included, and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a different drain type, a 5 um (code W) element, gauge style and scale, PT or NPT threads, and bracket options. Flow is published by AirTAC as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, pressure-regulated air to workpiece clamp cylinders on a machining fixture, where the low-pressure type lets the clamp circuit be set in a reduced range while the manual drain supports routine bowl checks between shifts.
Sits at the drop point feeding stopper and pusher cylinders on a packaging conveyor, cleaning condensed water and particles out of the shop air line and holding a steady set pressure so product handling stays repeatable.
Conditions the pilot-air supply to pneumatic actuated valves on a process line, filtering particulate and water from the supply and regulating it to the level the positioner and actuator circuit requires, with the psi gauge giving a direct local reading.
Start with the port step: this unit is 200 size with a 1/8 in port, so check it against the line size and the air demand of the equipment it feeds - if the demand is higher, the 300, 400 or 600 sizes step up in port and capacity. The manual drain here means an operator opens the bowl drain during checks; if you prefer hands-off water removal, the same family is available with automatic or differential-pressure drains. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W code for the 5 um element where finer filtration is needed. The round gauge on this unit reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is G (BSPP) here, with PT (standard) and NPT available to order, and the bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
M is the manual-drain code: water collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain by hand. It suits lines that are checked on a regular schedule. If you want water removed without operator action, the same GFR unit is available with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain instead.
