The AirTAC GFR20006MLC3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20006MLC3T is a GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single 200-size body with a 1/8 in NPT port. This configuration carries the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, the low-pressure regulator type, and a round external gauge with a bar scale. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, and square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a small bench-mounted pneumatic press or clamping fixture, this unit filters the shop air supply and lets the operator set and read a steady reduced working pressure on the bar gauge, with the manual drain emptied during shift checks.
Fitted at the air inlet of a carton sealer or labelling head, it removes water and pipe scale from the supply and holds the actuator circuit at the pressure the machine was set up for, protecting cylinders and valves from supply swings.
On a lab or QC test bench where instruments and small air cylinders need clean, settled air, the 40 um element handles particulate and the low-pressure regulator type with bar-scale gauge suits circuits run well below full line pressure.
Start with the port step: this unit is 200 size with a 1/8 in NPT thread, so match it to the line size and the air demand of the equipment it feeds - larger sizes (300/400/600) carry bigger ports for higher demand, and we will confirm the flow curve for whichever size you choose. The manual drain here means an operator opens the bowl drain periodically to remove accumulated condensate; if nobody is on site to do that, ask about the automatic or differential-pressure drain variants. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; the 5 um (W) element is available where finer particulate removal is needed. The gauge on this unit is the external round type with a bar scale; square embedded gauges and MPa or psi scales are alternatives. PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are order options, so order the thread your pipework uses.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line size and air demand and we will confirm the flow curve from the datasheet for this 200-size, 1/8 in NPT unit before you order.
The M in the code selects the manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain when checked. It suits attended equipment on a regular maintenance round. If the unit will be unattended, ask us about the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain variants of the same GFR200 filter regulator.
