The AirTAC GFR20006MLC3WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20006MLC3WT is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and the low-pressure regulator type. A round gauge with a bar scale is fitted and the mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT, G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, and 40 um or 5 um elements. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the low-pressure air that drives the cylinders and flap-folders on a carton-sealing machine: the 5 um element keeps water and debris out of the directional valves, and the low-pressure regulator holds the circuit at the pressure the machine was set up for, readable on the bar gauge.
Filtering and regulating the air feeding spray guns in a finishing booth. The 5 um element catches particulate that would mar the finish, the manual drain lets an operator bleed collected water between batches, and the gauge gives a readable setpoint at the gun.
Supplying a low-pressure clamping circuit on a machining fixture: filtration ahead of the clamp valves and a regulated, gauge-monitored supply so the clamps see the pressure the fixture was commissioned at. The included bracket mounts the unit at the fixture.
Size the unit by the flow your line needs: the 200 size with its 1/8 in NPT port is the smallest step in the GFR range, and because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, the honest way to size it is to send us your demand so we can confirm against the datasheet. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published in the catalogue, so we confirm it on request. The 5 um element (code W) gives finer filtration than the 40 um standard where downstream valves and instruments need it. The manual drain (code M) means the polycarbonate bowl is bled by hand on a routine - choose automatic or differential-pressure drain variants if no one will do that. The fitted round gauge reads in bar; the embedded square gauge and MPa or psi scales are the alternatives. NPT is the ordered thread option - PT is the catalogue standard and G is also available. The mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
M is the manual drain: the polycarbonate bowl is bled by hand on a routine, where automatic or differential-pressure drain variants would handle it for you. W is the 5 um filter element, finer than the 40 um standard. Both are decodable choices, and other GFR200 configurations carry the alternatives.
