The AirTAC GFR20008C1WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This GFR20008C1WTK is the size 200 unit with 1/4 in NPT ports, a fine 5 um filter element (the W grade, versus the standard 40 um), and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). A round MPa-scale gauge is fitted, a reverse/check valve is built in to hold downstream pressure when the supply is lost, and the mounting bracket is included. The polycarbonate bowl is rated for -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a step of port sizes, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and an optional low-pressure regulator type. Flow figures for the series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a CNC machining cell, this unit cleans the shop air to 5 um and holds a steady clamping pressure for the fixture cylinders, with the check valve holding the clamp if the main supply drops.
Feeding the vacuum and gripper cylinders on a packaging conveyor line, the GFR200 strips water and fine particles before the valves and keeps the actuator pressure set where the cycle needs it.
On a small valve-actuation skid in a process plant, the unit conditions the instrument-air supply and regulates it to the actuator's rated pressure, with the MPa gauge giving a local setpoint reading.
Size the GFR by port and flow: size 200 with 1/4 in ports suits lighter duty lines, and the 300/400/600 steps give larger ports for higher demand - match the step to the flow your circuit needs. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (this unit) needs no attention, automatic drains on a timer-free basis, and manual suits dry or intermittently used installations. Choose the element: 40 um for general protection, 5 um (this unit, code W) where downstream valves and instruments need finer air. Gauges can be square or round with MPa, psi or bar scales; thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options; a bracket is included unless code J is specified. Flow for the series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this exact model before you order.
W is the fine filtration option: a 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um, chosen where downstream valves or instruments need cleaner air. C is the round external gauge (the square gauge is the embedded standard), and 1 sets its scale to MPa. The K in the code adds a reverse/check valve, and T sets the thread to NPT.
