The AirTAC GFR20008JF3WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008JF3WTK is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air downstream and holds the outlet pressure the downstream equipment was set for. This configuration is size 200 with a 1/4 in NPT thread, fitted with the fine 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain on the polycarbonate bowl, an embedded square gauge reading in bar, and a reverse/check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator covers 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is included with this variant.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the solenoid valves and pneumatic clamps on a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um element protects the valve spools and the check valve holds clamp pressure through brief supply dips.
Supplying the pusher and diverter cylinders on a bottling or carton conveyor line, with the regulator set to the pressure the actuator circuit was designed for and the drain handling condensate from the drop leg.
Regulating clean, dry air to a lab analyser or instrument cabinet that calls for fine filtration upstream of its internal components, with the bar-scale square gauge giving a clear local setpoint reading.
Work from the flow your line needs, then step up through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) and their port sizes until the curve covers it with margin - we can check that against the datasheet on request. Choose the drain to match the installation: differential-pressure (as fitted here) dumps condensate only when the pressure drop across the element calls for it, automatic drains unattended equipment, and manual drain suits small or periodically serviced points. Choose the 5 um element (this model) where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer air than the 40 um standard. The embedded square gauge reads in bar here; MPa and psi scales are also available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the catalogue standard and G is also orderable. A bracket is optional on GFR - this variant ships without one, and the check valve (K) is already fitted.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your inlet pressure and the flow your application needs and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet before you order.
The W in the code selects the optional 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer protection of downstream valves and instruments. The K selects a reverse/check valve, which holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. Both are decode choices on the GFR family, and the differential-pressure drain on the polycarbonate bowl is the default drain type for this configuration.
