The AirTAC GFR20008JNT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20008JNT is a size-200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element is high enough, and a standard-range regulator adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). It is supplied without a gauge and without a mounting bracket, and the max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of 40 um or 5 um (code W) filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, gauge and bracket options, and an aluminium-alloy bowl on size 600. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feed filtered, regulated air to the tool-change clamps and air-blast nozzles of a small CNC machining centre, keeping chips and condensate out of the actuator valves.
Condition the air feeding the seal jaws and bag-clamp cylinders on a vertical form-fill-seal packaging machine, where a stable setpoint keeps seal pressure repeatable.
Supply the pusher and stopper cylinders on a conveyor divertor station, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate on a line that runs all shift.
Start with the port and size: this unit is the size-200 GFR with a 1/4 in NPT port, the smallest step in the range, so step up to GFR300/400/600 if your line needs more flow. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; specify the W variant if you need 5 um. The differential-pressure drain suits a steady, continuous air supply; choose automatic drain (code A) for unattended duty or manual drain (code M) where you want to purge on demand. This unit carries no gauge and no bracket, and the standard regulator covers 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we deliberately do not quote one. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet figures and the right size before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures and check the sizing for you before you order.
The N in GFR20008JNT means no gauge is fitted; gauge options are available in the GFR range if you want a visual setpoint reference. On thread, PT is the AirTAC standard, while G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue order options - this unit is ordered in NPT on its 1/4 in port.
