The AirTAC GFR20008LC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008LC2G is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation combined in one compact body. This configuration is the 200 size with a G1/4 (BSPP) port, the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard line pressure, a 40 um standard filter element, differential-pressure auto drain on the PC bowl, and a fitted external round gauge scaled in psi. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um (W) filter grade, gauge style and scale, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to vacuum ejectors and small cylinders on a carton pick-and-place station, with the low-pressure type holding a gentler set pressure for delicate product handling.
Sits upstream of low-force clamping actuators on a fixture, removing condensed water and pipe scale while regulating the circuit to the reduced pressure the clamps require.
Conditions the compressed air feeding a laboratory or pilot-plant skid that operates at reduced pressure, with the psi-scaled round gauge giving operators a direct local pressure readout.
Start with the port step: the 200 size carries G1/4 here, and larger sizes (300/400/600) step up in port and flow capacity - match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than oversizing on price alone. This unit is the low-pressure (L) type, so choose it when the regulated pressure sits below what a standard GFR covers; the exact low-pressure range is not published, so confirm it with us. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify W for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. Drain is differential-pressure (automatic on pressure drop); manual (M) and fully automatic (A) drains are orderable alternatives. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are options. Thread alternatives are PT (standard) and NPT; the mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, SCFM or Cv number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet so you can size the unit correctly before ordering.
The C in the code specifies the optional external round gauge and the 2 specifies the psi scale, giving a direct local pressure readout in imperial units. The L specifies the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits regulated below standard line pressure; the exact low-pressure range is not published, so confirm it with us. The embedded square gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales is the alternative.
