The AirTAC GFR20008LF2WK AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4" PT 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200 series is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This unit is the 200 size with a 1/4 in PT port, the low-pressure type (code L) for circuits that run at reduced set pressures, a 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain on the PC bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a built-in reverse/check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure if the supply drops. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um filtration, psi/MPa/bar gauge scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and standard or low-pressure regulation. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining fixture that grips workpieces with air cylinders at a reduced set pressure, this unit filters water and swarf from the shop air line and holds a stable low regulated pressure, while the check valve keeps the clamp from releasing if the main supply dips.
Packaging machines with heat-seal or crimp jaws run their actuation air at modest pressures. This filter regulator cleans moisture and particles out of the 1/4 in supply line and lets the line setter dial in the low operating pressure the jaw cylinders need.
Spray guns and small atomising valves need clean, dry air delivered at a gentle, repeatable pressure. Fed from a 1/4 in drop, this unit strips water and fine particulate with its 5 um element and regulates the low atomising pressure, with the psi gauge giving a clear set-point reading.
Start with the port step: the 200 size carries 1/4 in; step up to 300/400/600 for larger ports and more flow. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit, drains on a pressure differential), automatic for unattended duty, or manual where an operator can bleed the bowl. Pick 5 um (this unit) over the 40 um standard element whenever downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer filtration. The embedded square gauge is standard; an external round gauge is optional, with MPa, psi or bar scales. PT is the standard thread here, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and a mounting bracket is included.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application's flow and pressure before ordering - and note that the low-pressure type's set range should be confirmed for your circuit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow capacity as performance curves rather than a single rated number, so there is no one l/min or SCFM figure we can honestly quote. Tell us your application's flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
L makes this the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits set below standard pressures (confirm the exact set range with us). W selects the finer 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, and K fits a reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is lost. The bowl drains on a pressure differential, and the square gauge reads in psi.
