The AirTAC GFR20008LJC3WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single compact body, so one unit both cleans the compressed air and sets the working pressure downstream. This configuration, GFR20008LJC3WT, is the size 200 unit with 1/4 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W) for finer particle capture than the standard 40 um grade, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises, a round external gauge with a bar scale, and the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that work at reduced set pressures. No mounting bracket is fitted (code J).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a carton-sealing or wrapping line where the sealing actuators are set to run below normal line pressure, this low-pressure-type filter regulator cleans the supply and holds the reduced setting, with the bar gauge giving the operator a clear setpoint reference.
Feeding clamps or tool-change cylinders on a compact machining centre, the 5 um element protects the directional valves from fine particles while the regulator sets the clamping pressure; the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the bowl without daily attention.
Supplying pneumatic test fixtures or lab instrumentation that needs clean, finely filtered air at a stable reduced pressure, this unit's 5 um grade and bar-scaled gauge give repeatable, readable conditioning at the bench.
Start with the port step: size 200 with 1/4 in NPT ports suits lighter-duty circuits; step up to sizes 300, 400 or 600 when the line needs larger ports and more flow. Choose the 5 um element (this unit, code W) when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection than the standard 40 um grade. The differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no manual attention day to day; specify automatic (A) for unattended condensate handling or manual (M) where you want a deliberate drain action. The round gauge here reads in bar; square embedded gauges and MPa, psi or bar scales are the alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as order options - this unit is already NPT. Bracket J means you supply your own mounting.
For sizing, flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm the right size against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The W code in GFR20008LJC3WT selects the optional 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um grade, for finer protection of downstream components. The drain is the differential-pressure type (no A or M code), which discharges condensate automatically as the pressure drop across the element rises; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are the other order options.
