The AirTAC GFR20008MF2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008MF2K is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration takes 1/4 inch PT ports, uses the standard 40 um filter element, and is fitted with a manual drain you operate by hand to clear collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl. Regulation is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range, read on the embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve is fitted to hold downstream pressure. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options including automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element, alternative gauge scales and G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds and regulates the air to a small bench press or crimping cylinder, with the check valve holding the set pressure if the supply dips mid-stroke.
Supplies clean, regulated air to the cylinders that raise diverters and stop gates on a packaging or sorting line, with manual drain suited to a shift-based check.
Conditions the pilot-air supply to process valves on a small skid, filtering water and particulate before the regulator sets the pilot pressure shown on the psi gauge.
Size and port step up with required flow: GFR200 covers the small end of the range at 1/4 inch, while GFR300, 400 and 600 take larger ports. Where this unit is used, choose the drain to suit access: manual (this model) for periodic attention, automatic where condensate must clear itself, or differential-pressure as the default. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for 5 um when finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge is standard and can be ordered with MPa, psi or bar scale, or an external round gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket is normally included (J deletes it).
Because flow is published as curves rather than one rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the relevant datasheet figures and check the sizing for you before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand. Choose manual where the unit is accessible and checked routinely; choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain option where condensate should clear without operator attention.
