The AirTAC GFR20008MJF2K AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in PT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20008MJF2K is a size-200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This configuration is threaded PT1/4 (1/4 in, PT standard), drains by hand through the manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has an embedded square gauge reading in psi. A reverse (check) valve is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR range, which spans sizes 200 to 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option (code W), round or square gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT thread options. We confirm flow and other datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding a small pneumatic press or clamping fixture, where the operator checks the psi gauge and drains the bowl as part of routine shift checks.
Supplying filtered, pressure-regulated air to directional valves and cylinders on a packaging or labelling machine, with the check valve holding the downstream circuit.
A bench or cell air drop feeding air-powered hand tools and blow-off, where the 40 um element keeps rust and pipe scale out of the tools and the regulator sets working pressure.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 200 with a 1/4 in PT port, and the GFR range steps up through sizes 300, 400 and 600 for larger ports and higher flow. Drain type is a real decision: this unit has a manual drain, which suits installations where an operator can bleed the bowl periodically; automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended lines. The standard element is 40 um; specify the 5 um option (code W) when finer filtration is needed. Gauge scale is selectable (this unit: square, psi), and thread can be ordered as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code means the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand, which suits installations someone visits regularly. The GFR series is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank) for unattended operation - ask us for those variants.
