The AirTAC GFR20008MJF2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008MJF2WTK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single body. This 200-size unit has a 1/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve (K) fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7 to 130 psi). No mounting bracket is fitted (code J).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options for drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), PT, G or NPT thread, and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted at the air drop feeding the pneumatic clamps and tool-change actuators of a CNC machining center, this unit strips water and fine particulate from the shop supply and sets a regulated working pressure right where the machine needs it.
On a packaging line running carton sealers and case erectors, this filter regulator cleans and regulates the air to the sealing cylinders and diverters; the manual drain suits an attended shift with a routine daily blowdown.
At an assembly workstation running impact drivers, grippers and small air cylinders, the 5 um element protects the sensitive directional valves and cylinders downstream while the regulator holds a steady, repeatable working pressure.
Size and port step up with flow demand: 200 is the compact end of the GFR range, and the 1/4 in NPT port here suits point-of-use drops; step to 300, 400 or 600 when the line needs more. Choose the drain to match the installation: manual (as here) needs someone to open the drain, automatic drains on their own, and the differential-pressure default drains when the pressure drop calls for it. Filtration is 40 um standard; the W code gives 5 um for finer protection. The gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar) and this unit reads psi on the embedded square gauge; a round external gauge is optional. Thread is NPT here, with PT as the standard and G also orderable, and the J code means no bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your flow and pressure requirement and we will confirm the datasheet curve for the GFR200 size against your application before you order.
The M code fits a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl: condensate is released by opening the drain by hand, which suits attended installations with a routine blowdown. Automatic and differential-pressure drains are available in the same GFR family if the unit will be left unattended.
