The AirTAC GFR20008MLC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008MLC1T is an AirTAC GFR200-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and reduces pressure to the level your downstream circuit needs. This configuration is the size 200 unit with 1/4 in NPT ports, a manual drain bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run at reduced settings. It is supplied with an external round pressure gauge scaled in MPa, and the mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT, G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option, gauge styles and scales, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, pressure-reduced air to pick-and-place grippers and small actuators on an assembly cell, where the low-pressure regulator type holds the circuit at the reduced setting the tooling is set up for.
Supplies clean, regulated air to clamp cylinders and hold-down devices along a packaging conveyor, with the manual drain bowl emptied during routine changeover checks.
Conditions the shop-air feed to laboratory benches and test rigs, removing water and particulate and dropping the supply to the reduced pressure the bench equipment requires.
Start with the port and size step: size 200 with 1/4 in NPT ports suits compact circuits, while larger sizes 300, 400 and 600 carry bigger ports and higher flow - match the step to your air demand. Choose the drain: this unit has a manual drain, which you open periodically to release collected condensate; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer unattended operation. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for a 5 um grade if finer filtration is needed. Gauges can be the embedded square type or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar - this unit carries a round MPa gauge. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. A mounting bracket is included, and a reverse/check valve can be specified on request.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. The low-pressure regulator type on this unit is intended for circuits running at reduced pressure; we will confirm its exact adjustment range on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure that is not in the datasheet. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing for this 1/4 in, size 200 unit on request.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by hand: you open the drain periodically to release collected condensate, which suits stations that are checked as part of a routine. If you want condensate removed without attention, the same GFR200 filter regulator can be ordered with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain instead.
