The AirTAC GFR20008MLC2T AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008MLC2T is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates the pressure delivered downstream. This 200-size unit is built with 1/4 in NPT ports, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a 40 um filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, a round gauge reading psi, and a mounting bracket included.
It is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR range, which spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), gauge style and scale, and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding regulated low-pressure air to the pneumatic cylinders that lower the capping heads on a beverage bottling line, with the 40 um element keeping water and pipe scale out of the valve manifold.
Supplying low-pressure regulated air to pneumatic swing clamps on a machining-centre fixture table, with the round psi gauge letting the setter read and set clamp pressure directly at the drop.
Regulating instrument air on a laboratory or pilot-scale process skid plumbed in NPT, where gentle low-range pressure control on supply lines protects transmitters and sample-handling actuators.
Step up through the GFR sizes by port and flow duty: this 200-size unit carries 1/4 in NPT, while 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and capacity. The code fixes the practical choices for you: NPT thread (PT is AirTAC's standard; G and NPT are ordered options), a manual drain you bleed by hand - choose automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) if manual draining is impractical - 40 um filtration, with 5 um as the W option, and a round gauge scaled in psi. The L marks the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us. Bracket is included.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated figure - send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code selects a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl and you bleed it off by hand. If the unit sits where regular manual draining is impractical, the same 200-size filter regulator is available with automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain - ask us for that variant.
