The AirTAC GFR300-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in PT, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-08 is an AirTAC filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body, so a single unit conditions the air and holds the downstream setting. This configuration is the 300 size with a 1/4 in PT port, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, a round gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve; it is ordered without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as standard and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filter grades, and a choice of gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered and regulated air for the gates, pushers and stop cylinders on a bottling conveyor, with the built-in check valve holding the circuit if supply dips.
Point-of-use conditioning for pneumatic grippers on a robotics cell, keeping water and chips out of the valve pack while holding a steady downstream setting.
The low-pressure regulator type feeding spray-booth or coating lines that run at reduced settings, with the 40 um element protecting the guns and hoses.
Choose the size by port and required flow: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and capacity, so move up a size if your line draws more air than a smaller port can pass - and ask us to check the flow curve against your demand before ordering. Pick the drain to match your maintenance routine: manual (this unit) needs periodic hand draining, while automatic and differential-pressure drains handle condensate without attention. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) for finer protection. Gauge scale is MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and a bracket can be added if you want panel mounting. The low-pressure regulator type suits circuits running at reduced settings; confirm the exact setting range with us before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curve and datasheet figures for this 1/4 in unit on request.
This unit has a manual drain: the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand at intervals. If you would rather not do that, the same GFR300-08 configuration can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain (the default), which uses the pressure drop to eject condensate.
