The AirTAC GFR300-08MF1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-08MF1T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single compact body, with no lubricator. This size 300 unit is threaded NPT1/4 (1/4 in), carries a 40 um filter element, and uses a manual drain, so an operator opens the drain at the bottom of the PC (polycarbonate) bowl to expel collected condensate. The embedded square gauge reads outlet pressure in MPa, and a mounting bracket is included for panel or wall fixing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, an optional 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the regulation range for this manual-drain configuration is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed ahead of the solenoid valve manifold on a cartoning or filling line, the unit delivers filtered air at a set pressure so directional valves and cylinders cycle cleanly, with the manual drain bled during shift start-up.
Mounted on the bracket beside a CNC machining centre's air drop, it conditions the supply feeding tool-change cylinders and clamping actuators, holding a stable regulated pressure for repeatable clamping.
Fitted at the drop feeding a robotic pick-and-place cell, it filters line scale and condensate out of the gripper circuit and lets technicians set and read the operating pressure on the square MPa gauge.
Start with the port step: size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port suits typical machine supply lines, while larger sizes (400, 600) carry higher flow - match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than upsizing blindly. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) needs an operator to bleed the bowl, automatic drains continuously, and differential-pressure drain bleeds when the element loads up. The standard element is 40 um; specify the 5 um option (code W) where downstream valves or instruments need finer filtration. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options), and the included bracket complete the choices. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
A manual drain, as fitted to this unit, releases collected condensate only when an operator opens it, which suits installations that are visited regularly as part of routine checks. Automatic drain (code A) and differential-pressure drain (the default) bleed the bowl without operator action, so choose those for enclosed or infrequently accessed positions. All three drain types share the same 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range on this filter regulator.
