The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in, 5 um, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This 300-size unit carries a 3/8 in PT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), and a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, so moisture has to be drained by hand rather than automatically. It is the low-pressure regulator type and ships as coded with no mounting bracket, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and no reverse/check valve fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and gauge or no-gauge builds. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding sealing bars and wrapper actuators on a packaging machine that runs at reduced pressure, where the low-pressure regulator type and a square psi gauge make set-and-check adjustments straightforward at the machine.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to clamping cylinders on a machining fixture, with the 5 um element protecting valve spools and cylinder seals from particulate carried in shop air.
Conditioning air at a bench or instrument drop in a lab or test cell, where the 5 um grade and a manual drain suit a supervised station that is bled down and checked as part of routine work.
Size and port step up together: 200, 300, 400 and 600 cover 1/8 in through 1 in, and the right step depends on the air demand of the line downstream - match the port to your piping and let us confirm the flow curve against your consumption before ordering. This unit is already decoded as 300 size, 3/8 in PT, 5 um grade, manual drain, low-pressure type, square psi gauge, no bracket. If your compressor or dryer already handles bulk water, a manual drain is a deliberate, low-maintenance choice; if the unit sits where nobody walks, consider the automatic-drain variant instead. The 5 um element suits air that feeds sensitive components; the 40 um standard grade is the economical choice for general shop air. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT available as order options, and a bracket can be added if this no-bracket build does not suit your mounting.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the right size from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
Manual drain means moisture collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand, which suits stations that are attended regularly; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other builds. This is the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published on our sheet, so ask us to confirm it on request. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
