The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, G3/8, 5 um, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a G3/8 (BSPP) port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, a low-pressure type regulator, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a built-in reverse/check valve. The polycarbonate bowl suits the 300 frame, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with a choice of ports, drain types, filter grades, gauge styles and scales, and G or NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleans condensed water and fine particles from the shop-air drop feeding a pneumatic press cylinder and holds the circuit at the set pressure, with the automatic drain handling condensate during continuous shifts.
The 5 um element polishes compressed air feeding lab test rigs and instrumentation, while the psi-scaled square gauge gives operators a direct reading of the regulated line pressure.
Installed at the air inlet of a packaging machine to strip moisture and grit before actuators and valves, with the reverse/check valve holding the downstream circuit if supply pressure is interrupted.
Size the unit by stepping up from 200 through 300, 400 and 600 as your port and flow demand grows; this 300-size unit takes a 3/8 in port in G (BSPP) thread, with PT as the standard thread and G/NPT as order options. Choose the automatic drain fitted here for unattended condensate removal, or manual/differential-pressure drains where preferred. The 5 um element fitted here suits finer filtration; the standard grade is 40 um. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the external round gauge are selectable, and a mounting bracket is optional. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and sizing on request before you order.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate on its own instead of waiting for a manual or differential-pressure drain cycle. The W specifies the 5 um filter element, a finer grade than the 40 um standard, suited to downstream equipment that is sensitive to fine particles.
