The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 40 um standard filter element, and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain version, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) filter element, MPa/psi/bar gauge scales, G or NPT threads, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm datasheet and flow figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of a machining centre's pneumatic valves and actuators: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-laden condensate while the regulator holds a steady set pressure for clamping and tool-change circuits. The psi square gauge lets operators verify the setting at a glance.
Feeding cylinders and grippers on a packaging or cartoning conveyor, where clean, regulated air keeps motion repeatable through the shift. The manual drain suits lines with scheduled changeover stops when the bowl can be emptied.
A bench-side filter regulator on a factory air drop, giving each assembly station its own pressure setting independent of the header line. The G3/8 port matches common drop piping, and the polycarbonate bowl with manual drain keeps maintenance simple.
Size and port: the 300 size with a G3/8 port sits in the middle of the GFR range (200/300/400/600); step up or down according to the flow your line needs, and we will confirm sizing against the published curves before you order. Drain: this unit is manual drain, so an operator opens the bowl drain periodically; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain if you cannot schedule that. Filter grade: 40 um is standard; specify the W variant for 5 um where finer filtration is required. Gauge: the embedded square gauge is fitted here scaled in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread: G (BSPP) as coded, with PT standard and NPT available to order. A mounting bracket is not included with the J-coded version but is available. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm the sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in GFR30010MJF2G codes a manual drain: the polycarbonate bowl is emptied by hand at intervals. If you prefer, the same 300-size GFR is available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank), which changes the regulator adjustment range to 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) on those versions.
