The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 3/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-10 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is a 300-size unit with a 3/8 in NPT port, the 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in MPa. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). This J-coded unit is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated number, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request - tell us your application and we will check the sizing with you.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a single-acting press cylinder at a workbench: the 5 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the cylinder seals while the regulator holds a steady set pressure for consistent forming or staking work.
Supplying the diverter and stopper cylinders that sort cartons on a packaging line, where the manual-drain bowl is emptied during scheduled changeovers and the gauge lets operators verify line pressure at a glance.
Mounted ahead of a directional-valve manifold on an automated machine, giving one point-of-use station filtered and regulated air for the whole valve group, with the MPa gauge visible for setup and fault-finding.
The real, decodable choices are: size and port (200/300/400/600, ports 1/8 to 1 in) stepped against the air demand of the circuit; drain type - manual, automatic or differential-pressure; filter grade - 40 um standard or 5 um (W) where finer filtration is needed; gauge - the embedded square gauge as on this unit, or an optional external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales; thread - PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options; and bracket, which this J-coded unit omits. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact model on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand. If you prefer the bowl to discharge without operator attention, the same 300-size filter regulator is available with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain - ask us for the equivalent code.
