The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 3/8 in, MPa Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: one body that first removes water and particulate from compressed air, then regulates downstream pressure. In this configuration the 300 size is fitted with 3/8 in NPT ports, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises, and a round pressure gauge scaled in MPa. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (code W) filtration, gauge scale options in MPa, psi or bar, and a low-pressure type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the compressed air drop feeding a CNC machining centre, the GFR300-10 cleans moisture and swarf-laden particulate out of the supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the machine's pneumatic valves and clamps, with the MPa gauge giving the operator a direct pressure readout.
Mounted at the inlet of a packaging line's air manifold, this unit filters the shop air and regulates the pressure feeding conveyor stoppers, pushers and carton-closing cylinders, while the fitted reverse/check valve helps hold the set pressure if the upstream supply dips.
Used at a workbench take-off in a factory tool room, the GFR300-10 delivers filtered, regulated air to impact wrenches, air ratchets and blow guns, with the differential-pressure drain signalling element loading through the gauge so maintenance knows when service is due.
Sizing a GFR filter regulator starts with the port step: the 300 size with 3/8 in NPT ports sits mid-range between the compact 200/1/4 in class and the higher-flow 400/1/2 in class, so match the size to the flow your line actually needs. Next choose the drain: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain, which discharges condensate as the element loads up; an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) are available alternatives. Filtration is the standard 40 um grade; specify code W for the 5 um element if downstream equipment needs finer protection. The gauge here is round and scaled in MPa; psi or bar scales can be ordered. This code specifies NPT thread; PT (standard) and G (BSPP) versions exist as order options, and the J code means no mounting bracket is supplied.
Because flow for this family is published as curves and not as a single rated number, we do not quote a rated flow figure. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number for this unit. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing against your requirement before you order.
This GFR300-10 has the differential-pressure drain (no drain letter in the code): collected condensate is discharged automatically when the pressure differential across the 40 um element rises to a set level. If your application needs a different behaviour, the GFR300 series is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) - ask us for those variants.
