The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-10 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates the downstream pressure. This 300-size unit has 3/8 in NPT ports, the standard 40 um filter element, and an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention. The L in the code selects the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that work at reduced set pressures. It is fitted with an external round pressure gauge reading in psi and a reverse (check) valve, and it is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G-series range, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, plus drain, filter-grade, gauge, thread and bracket options. Flow figures for the GFR series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying filtered, regulated air to clamping cylinders on a machining fixture that holds workpieces at reduced set pressures, with the fitted check valve blocking reverse flow in the downstream line.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to pick-and-place cylinders and product stoppers on a packaging line, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the valves through continuous shifts.
Regulating low-pressure air to blow-off nozzles that clear dust and debris from product and belts on a conveyor line, with 40 um filtration protecting the nozzles from particulate.
Size and port step up together: 200 through 600 cover 1/8 in to 1 in ports, so match the 300-size NPT 3/8 in connection to your line diameter and required flow. Drain choices are differential-pressure (default), automatic (this unit) or manual; automatic suits unattended or continuous-duty installations. The standard element is 40 um; the W variant gives 5 um where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge is the standard fitting, and this configuration carries an external round gauge with a psi scale (MPa and bar scales are also orderable). Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as orderable options - this unit is NPT. The J code omits the mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air consumption and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet for your application.
The A in the code selects the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate without manual attention - useful on unattended or continuous-duty installations. C2 selects the external round gauge with a psi scale; the embedded square gauge is the standard alternative, and MPa or bar scales can be ordered.
