The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-10 is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one unit. This configuration is built for 3/8 in NPT ports, carries a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), and uses a manual drain, so an operator opens the drain at the bowl to discharge collected condensate. A round pressure gauge with a psi scale is fitted so the set pressure can be read directly at the unit. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The 300-size polycarbonate bowl suits the mid-range port size.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um standard or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale choices, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, pressure-regulated air to the clamp and fixture actuators on a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um element protects the clamping valves from water and fine debris carried in shop air.
Supplies clean, regulated air to the diverter and stopper cylinders along a packaging or bottling conveyor, with the fitted psi gauge letting line staff read and hold the set pressure at the unit.
Conditions the air feed to spray guns and air-operated agitators in a paint finishing booth, where the 5 um grade and regulated pressure help keep the application air consistent between shifts.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: the GFR300 with its 3/8 in NPT ports sits in the middle of the range, with smaller 200 and larger 400/600 units available when the required flow calls for a different step. This unit already carries the two choices that matter most day to day: a manual drain, which is simple and low-cost but needs someone to open the bowl drain periodically, versus the automatic or differential-pressure drain options that discharge condensate without operator action; and the 5 um element, versus the 40 um standard grade, when finer particulate removal is wanted. Gauge style and scale (this unit: round, psi), thread family (PT standard, G and NPT as options) and bracket inclusion are the remaining decodable choices.
One honest note before you order: AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a flow number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR30010MJC2WT specifies a manual drain: collected condensate is discharged by opening the drain at the bowl. It is the simple option where an operator visits the unit regularly; if the unit sits unattended, the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same GFR300 filter regulator are the alternatives to consider.
