The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, 5 um, Bar Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in a single body. This 300-size unit is fitted with 3/8 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W, finer than the standard 40 um), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, an embedded square gauge reading in bar, and a reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator covers 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl is standard at this size, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including manual or automatic drains, the 5 um element, gauge scale in MPa, psi or bar, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamps and small press cylinders on a machining cell: the 5 um element keeps spool valves clean while the regulator holds a repeatable clamping pressure, and the check valve keeps the fixture from releasing if the main supply drops.
Point-of-use conditioning for sealing jaws, diverters and vacuum generators on a packaging line: clean, regulated air at the machine, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate during continuous running.
Supplying analytical instruments, air bearings or test rigs where fine particulate must be kept out and pressure must stay stable; the bar-scaled square gauge gives a local setpoint readout at the bench.
Size and port: the 300 body with 3/8 in NPT ports suits lines where a 1/4 in unit would restrict flow and a 1/2 in unit would be oversized - step up or down (200/400/600) if your flow demand sits near the boundary of the curve. The 5 um element (W) is the right choice when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments are sensitive to fine particulate; the standard 40 um element is adequate for general shop-air protection. The differential-pressure drain suits continuously flowing lines; choose the automatic drain (A) for intermittent flow or the manual drain (M) where an operator drains on a schedule. The square gauge here reads in bar; MPa and psi scales are also available, and an external round gauge is an option. The fitted check valve (K) is worth keeping if trapped downstream pressure matters between cycles.
Before ordering, note that flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so we cannot quote a rated flow number - send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet. Thread is NPT here; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also orderable.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your application - inlet pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop - and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The W in the code GFR30010F3WTK selects the optional 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer particulate protection. The K selects a reverse/check valve, which holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. Both are catalogue options; the 40 um element without a check valve is available if your line does not need them.
