The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 5 um Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 300 unit is specified with a 3/8 in NPT port, a manual drain on the bowl, a fine 5 um filter element (the W grade, versus the standard 40 um), and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain configuration, and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Because the drain is manual, the bowl should be drained as part of routine maintenance rather than automatically.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filter elements, square or external round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, and optional brackets. Flow is published by AirTAC as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditions and regulates the air feeding tool-clamp actuators and pneumatic cylinders on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting fine valve internals from particles and carryover water.
Provides filtered, regulated air to the stopper, pusher and clamp cylinders along a packaging conveyor, with the psi-scaled square gauge giving operators a direct setpoint readout at the machine.
Prepares supply air for sample-handling robots and lab automation skids, where the 5 um grade and a manually maintained drain keep the point-of-use air clean and the setpoint stable.
Size 300 with a 3/8 in port sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to 400 or 600, or down to 200, according to the flow your line needs. The 5 um element on this unit suits air that feeds sensitive components; choose the standard 40 um grade where only coarse water and particle removal is needed. Manual drain means an operator drains the bowl on a schedule; automatic or differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer not to. The square gauge here is scaled in psi, and MPa or bar scales are alternatives; an external round gauge is also an option. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included with this unit.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application and the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number we can quote. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is released by operating the drain by hand as part of routine maintenance. If you would rather not schedule manual draining, GFR units can be ordered with an automatic drain or the default differential-pressure drain instead. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the maximum inlet pressure remains 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
