The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-10 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size-300 unit carries a 3/8 in NPT port and is configured with a 5 um filter element for finer particulate and water removal than the standard 40 um grade, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, and a low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run at reduced setpoints. The embedded square gauge reads in psi, and a reverse/check valve is fitted to hold downstream pressure when the supply is interrupted. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is offered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, MPa, psi or bar gauge scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and bracket or no-bracket mounting. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of a directional-valve manifold on a cartoning or wrapping line: the 5 um element protects spools from particulate and the low-pressure regulator holds the reduced setpoint the valve island is rated for.
Conditioning the air feed to workholding clamps and tool-change cylinders on a machining centre, where the check valve helps hold the clamped state if the main supply drops and the psi gauge lets operators verify setpoint at a glance.
A filtered, regulated drop feeding gripper and lift cylinders on a beverage bottling conveyor, with the automatic drain clearing condensate on a line that runs unattended through shifts.
Choose the size and port step to match the air consumption of the circuit served - here the size-300 body with a 3/8 in NPT port suits mid-range pneumatic drops. This unit is specified with the 5 um element (code W); the standard grade is 40 um, so select 5 um where downstream valves or instruments need finer air. Drains are available as automatic (this unit), manual, or differential-pressure; automatic suits unattended installations. The embedded square gauge reads psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread options are PT (standard), G and NPT - this code specifies NPT. Brackets are optional; this configuration ships without one.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated number, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet flow curves on request before you order.
The W code in GFR30010ALJF2WTK specifies the 5 um filter grade instead of the standard 40 um, giving finer removal of water and particulate for sensitive downstream components. The A code specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate on its own instead of requiring manual draining. Both are order-time choices on the GFR family.
