The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/8, 5 um, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your set point. This 300-size unit is fitted with a 3/8 in PT port, a fine 5 um filter element for cleaner air than the standard 40 um grade, a manual drain for controlled bowl emptying, and a round external gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR family, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to tool-changer clamps and pneumatic actuators on a machining centre, where the 5 um element protects close-tolerance valves from water and fine particles.
Supplying pressure-regulated air to diverters and pusher cylinders on a conveyor sortation line, with the round psi gauge letting operators check the set point at a glance.
Regulating supply pressure to a small pneumatic press or clamping fixture at a factory workstation, with manual drain emptying suited to a unit mounted where an operator passes daily.
Size the GFR300 by the port step against required flow: 200 (1/8-1/4 in), 300 (3/8-1/2 in), 400 (3/4 in) and 600 (1 in), stepping up when your line needs more air. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this model) for controlled, attended draining; automatic where the unit is hard to reach; differential-pressure as the default. Pick 5 um filtration (this model) when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need cleaner air than the standard 40 um grade, and select the gauge scale you want - MPa, psi or bar. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in GFR30010MC2W specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand rather than automatically. Choose manual where the unit is easy to reach and someone can drain it as part of routine checks; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is mounted out of reach.
