The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/8, 5 um, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-10 is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built for a PT3/8 port, carries the 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), drains by hand through its manual drain, and is the low-pressure regulator type. A square pressure gauge scaled in psi is fitted, and a reverse/check valve is included per the code; the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size-300 bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family covers four sizes (200, 300, 400 and 600) with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing or any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture line, filtering shop air to 5 um and letting the operator set a reduced, stable clamp pressure on the fitted psi gauge.
Conditions air for pick-and-place and carton-sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, with the manual drain emptied during shift checks and the square gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
Supplies quarter-turn pneumatic valve actuators on a treatment skid where the circuit runs at reduced pressure, with the reverse/check valve fitted per the code and the psi gauge giving maintenance staff a clear readout.
Sizing starts with the port step: this 300-size unit takes a PT3/8 connection; step up to a 400 or 600 body for larger air demand, but confirm the choice against the published flow curves rather than a single rating. The 5 um element (code W) suits points of use that see finer contamination than the standard 40 um grade. The manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain periodically - choose an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain code if you want unattended draining. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales, and an external round gauge, are alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and this configuration omits the mounting bracket. Ask us to confirm flow against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR300 flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application's air demand and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
The M in the code selects a manual drain: an operator opens the bowl drain during routine checks. The GFR series is also available with automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain codes if you prefer unattended draining, while the 5 um element, PT3/8 port and low-pressure regulator type stay as decoded here.
