The AirTAC GFR300-10 NPT 3/8 AirTAC Filter Regulator, 5 um, bar gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has NPT 3/8 ports, a 5 um filter element (the finer W grade, tighter than the 40 um standard), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, and an embedded square gauge reading in bar. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and no mounting bracket is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR300 series. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and can be ordered with 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, an optional check valve, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the drop feeding a CNC machining centre, the unit strips water and fine particles from the shop air and holds a steady regulated pressure to the machine's pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders, with the bar gauge giving the operator a direct pressure readout.
Installed ahead of the valve island on a carton-forming and sealing line, the 5 um element protects the directional control valves from condensate carryover and particulate, while the regulator keeps actuator pressure consistent across the shift.
Fitted on the air line serving lab automation equipment such as liquid-handling stations and pneumatic sample handlers, the unit delivers clean, finely filtered and regulated air where pressure stability and air quality directly affect repeatability.
Size and port: the 300 size with 3/8 in NPT ports sits mid-range in the GFR line - step up to 400 or 600 for larger air demand, down to 200 for compact points of use. Filtration: the 5 um (W) element on this unit suits air that feeds sensitive valves and instruments; the 40 um standard grade is enough for general actuator supply. Drain: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (the default); choose automatic (A) for unattended drains or manual (M) where you want scheduled bleeding. Gauge: the fitted square gauge reads in bar; MPa and psi scales and an external round gauge are order options. Thread: PT is the standard; this unit is ordered with NPT, and G (BSPP) is also available. No mounting bracket is fitted (code J); a bracket can be ordered.
Sizing honesty: AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The W code on this model orders the finer 5 um element, which catches smaller particles than the 40 um standard grade - a good choice when the downstream air feeds valves, instruments or other sensitive components. The drain is the differential-pressure type (the default): it bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as air flows through the bowl, so no manual draining is needed under normal operation. Automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are order options.
