The AirTAC GFR300-10G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit has a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a 40 um standard filter element, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, and a polycarbonate bowl. It is the low-pressure (L) type for circuits that run below standard line pressure, and it carries a round external gauge reading in psi plus a built-in reverse (check) valve so downstream pressure cannot back up through the unit. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um (W) element option, gauge scale choices in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Published flow data appears as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On an assembly fixture where clamps are specified to run below standard shop pressure, this low-pressure-type GFR filters the supply and holds the reduced setting, with the psi gauge giving the operator a direct reading at the station.
Feeding tool-change cylinders and clamping actuators on a machining centre, the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before the regulator, and the check valve keeps the panel's set pressure stable if the main supply dips.
On a carton-forming and sealing conveyor, filtered and regulated air drives the fold and seal cylinders; the automatic drain clears condensate during continuous shifts without an operator stopping to bleed the bowl.
Size the unit by the port step: 200 through 600 map to larger ports and higher air delivery, so pick the size whose flow curve covers your demand with margin - we can check the curve against your consumption if you send the figures. This unit is already configured with an automatic drain, a 40 um element, a round psi gauge and a check valve; if your line instead suits a manual or differential-pressure drain, a 5 um element for finer filtration, or a square embedded gauge in MPa or bar, those are orderable variants. Thread is G (BSPP) here; PT is the catalogue standard and NPT is available to order. A bracket is included on this unit. Because flow is published as curves rather than one rated number, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm from the datasheet curve whether the 300 size with its G3/8 port suits your application.
The A in the code means condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is discharged automatically, with no manual bleeding. That suits unattended or continuously running equipment; a manual-drain variant is available if you prefer to control drainage yourself, and it also changes the regulator's usable adjustment range, so tell us your set pressure and we will confirm the right configuration.
