GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain

The AirTAC GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain

The GFR300-10T is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration is sized for 3/8 in NPT ports, carries a 40 um standard filter element, and drains via a manual drain valve you open by hand during checks. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, and a round pressure gauge scaled in bar is fitted so the setpoint can be read directly. A mounting bracket is included.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options, drain types, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge styles and scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
10Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
3Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain Is Used

valve

Directional valve supply on a packaging machine

Feeding clean, regulated air to the solenoid valves and actuators that open, close and seal cartons, with the manual drain cleared during shift-start checks.

conveyor_belt

Conveyor stopper and pusher cylinders

Supplying the air cylinders that divert, stop and index product on a bottling or canning conveyor, held at a stable setpoint read off the bar-scaled gauge.

factory

Air tool drop at an assembly bench

A point-of-use filter regulator on the drop from the shop air header, protecting impact drivers and nut runners from water and debris at a set working pressure.

Is the GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain the Right Unit?

Size 300 with 3/8 in NPT ports sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to 400 or 600, or down to 200, if your line's air demand points elsewhere - we can check the published flow curves against your consumption before you commit. Drain choice is a real decision: manual (this unit) costs nothing to operate but needs someone to open the drain; automatic and differential-pressure drains remove condensate without attention. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W code for 5 um if downstream valves or cylinders need finer protection. The fitted round gauge reads in bar; square embedded gauges and MPa or psi scales are available. Threads come as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT - this unit is the NPT option. A mounting bracket is included; a J code deletes it. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Manual Drain FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can honestly quote. Tell us your air consumption and working pressure and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for the GFR300 size before you order.

The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl and is released by opening the drain by hand, which suits stations checked on a regular schedule. If the unit will be left unattended, the same GFR300 body is available with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain instead.
