The AirTAC GFR300-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-15 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure, in one body. This 300-size unit comes with 1/2 in NPT ports, a standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate from the PC bowl as air passes, a round psi gauge for setting output pressure, and a built-in reverse (check) valve; no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is made in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options for manual or automatic drains, a 5 um element, G or NPT threads, gauges and brackets. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulating range for this differential-drain configuration is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the drop feeding a CNC machining cell, the unit filters water and swarf-laden particulate out of the shop air and holds a steady regulated pressure to the clamps and tool-change cylinders.
On a packaging line with pneumatic sorting gates and carton-closing cylinders, the filter regulator conditions the air at each drop so actuators see clean air at a consistent set pressure shift after shift.
At an assembly plant workstation running air cylinders and grippers, the unit strips condensate and dirt from the header supply and lets the operator set and read the working pressure on the psi gauge.
Step up or down by size and port: this 300-size unit carries 1/2 in NPT ports, and the family runs from 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, so match the port step to your line's flow and connection. On filtration, 40 um is the standard element and a 5 um element (code W) is orderable if the application needs finer air. Drain choice matters: manual drain gives the widest low-end regulating range (0.05-0.9 MPa), while automatic and the differential-pressure drain fitted here regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa. Gauges: an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional, in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; this unit is NPT. A bracket can be ordered; this configuration has none. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm from the datasheet whether this 300-size, 1/2 in NPT unit suits your application.
This unit has a differential-pressure drain, which bleeds accumulated condensate from the PC bowl as air flows through, with no operator attention. If your usage pattern suits scheduled draining or a fully automatic bowl, the same family is orderable with a manual or automatic drain - ask us when ordering.
