The AirTAC GFR300-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, Gauge, Check Valve is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a G1/2 (BSPP) port, a 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate whenever the pressure differential across the bowl is high enough, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. A reverse (check) valve is fitted, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulation range with this drain type is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this 300 size is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8" to 1", a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um element option (code W), gauge scale choices and G or NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, pressure-set air to the tool-clamp and chip-clearing circuits of a CNC machining centre, with the check valve holding the downstream setting against supply-side dips.
Conditioning the air that powers conveyor stop-gate and pusher cylinders on a packaging line, where the 1/2" port matches the header feeding a bank of actuators.
Supplying clean, regulated air to quarter-turn pneumatic actuators on a process valve skid, with the psi gauge giving operators a local setpoint readout.
Size and port set the capacity envelope: this 300-size unit carries a G1/2 port, one step up from the 1/4" and 3/8" sizes, so choose it when your line's air demand points at a 1/2" connection. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; specify the 5 um W option only where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Drain choice matters: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (no attention needed during normal cycling); pick automatic for continuous condensate removal or manual where you want deliberate draining. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available, and an embedded square gauge is the catalogue alternative. Thread is G (BSPP) here - PT is the standard and G/NPT are order options. A bracket can be added on the J-less variants. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The differential-pressure drain discharges collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the bowl rises - no manual attention during normal cycling. If you want continuous condensate removal regardless of differential, choose the automatic-drain (A) variant; if you prefer to drain deliberately on a schedule, choose manual (M).
