The AirTAC GFR300-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2, 5 um, psi gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit is fitted with a PT1/2 (1/2 in) PT thread port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the PC (polycarbonate) bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale options, and G or NPT thread variants to order. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the drop feeding a machining centre's pneumatic circuits, the GFR300-15 cleans the shop air to 5 um and holds a set working pressure for clamps, tool changers and air bearings, with the psi gauge giving the operator a direct readout.
On a bottling or cartoning line, this filter regulator conditions the air feeding conveyor gate cylinders and diverters, protecting the actuators from water and fine particulate while keeping the pressure steady through the shift.
Ahead of spray guns or coating applicators, the 5 um element and stable regulated pressure help deliver clean, consistent air to the finishing process, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate as the element loads up.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit rather than the pipe alone: the GFR300 with its PT1/2 port sits in the middle of the range, with 200, 400 and 600 sizes above and below it. This unit carries the 5 um element (code W); the standard grade is 40 um, so pick 5 um where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection. Drain is differential-pressure here - automatic (code A) or manual (code M) versions exist if you prefer a different drain behaviour. The embedded square gauge reads psi; MPa and bar scales, an external round gauge, or no gauge are alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options; a no-bracket variant (code J) also exists for this family. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a fixed l/min or SCFM number. Tell us your application and operating pressure and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The W in GFR30015F2W selects the 5 um filtration grade, one step finer than the 40 um standard element, for applications that need cleaner air. The drain code is blank, which means the differential-pressure type: it discharges collected condensate automatically as the pressure drop across the element rises, with no manual draining needed under normal operation.
