The AirTAC GFR300-15 NPT1/2 AirTAC Filter Regulator, 5 um, Round Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is the size 300 unit with 1/2 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), differential-pressure draining of the PC bowl, a standard regulator with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) setting range, a round MPa pressure gauge fitted, and a reverse/check valve. No mounting bracket is included, so plan your panel or frame fixing accordingly.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G-series filter regulator line, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT/G/NPT threads, drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge styles and scales, and optional reverse valves. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding cleaned, regulated air to the tool-change and clamping circuits of a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um element helps protect sensitive valves from particulate and the check valve holds the circuit if supply pressure dips.
Supplying the pneumatic diverters, pushers and bag-seal cylinders on a packaging conveyor line, with the regulator set to the pressure the machine builder specifies and the differential-pressure drain clearing condensate as air flows.
Regulating air to the grippers and weld-gun actuation in a robotic welding cell, where a stable set pressure keeps repeatability consistent and the 5 um grade suits the cell's control valves.
Step up or down through the size range (200/300/400/600) to match the port size and flow your line needs; this size 300 unit carries 1/2 in NPT ports. On this code the 5 um element is selected instead of the 40 um standard - choose 5 um where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments are sensitive to finer particles. Drain is differential-pressure here (the default), with automatic and manual drains available elsewhere in the range. The round MPa gauge is fitted; square embedded gauges and psi/bar scales are the other published options. A reverse/check valve is included on this unit, and no bracket is supplied.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, we cannot quote one number here - send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The W in the code specifies the optional 5 um filter grade instead of the 40 um standard, and the K specifies a reverse/check valve fitted. Both are catalogue options on this family; if you would prefer the 40 um element or no check valve, there are sibling codes without those positions.
