The AirTAC GFR300-15AJF2WK AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body, so one PT1/2 connection handles both jobs. This configuration is fitted with a 5 um filter element for finer contaminant removal, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi so the set pressure is readable at a glance. A reverse (check) valve is fitted, and the standard regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and an optional mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding carton sealers, case erectors and wrapping machines on a packaging line, where the 5 um element keeps fine debris out of directional valves and the automatic drain handles condensate on a line that runs unattended.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to conveyor gate and diverter cylinders, with the psi-scaled square gauge letting line staff verify set pressure at a glance and the check valve holding the circuit if supply dips.
Conditioning shop air for laboratory automation benches and small test rigs, where the 5 um grade and stable regulated output protect sensitive pneumatic actuators and the compact single-body format saves panel space.
Start with the port step: size 300 carries PT1/2, and moving up or down a size changes both the port and the flow path, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than the pipe alone. Choose the drain to suit access: automatic drain (this unit) suits installations that are not checked daily; manual drain suits attended stations; the differential-pressure default drains on load. Pick the element grade for the downstream need: 40 um is the standard general-purpose grade, 5 um (code W, fitted here) protects finer equipment. Gauge scale is selectable in MPa, psi or bar, and PT is the standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options. A bracket (omitted on this unit, code J) is optional for panel or wall fixing.
Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated l/min or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing figures from the datasheet on request.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the PC bowl without anyone opening it - useful for units mounted in awkward spots or on lines that run unattended. The GFR300 is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure default; specify the drain code when ordering.
