The AirTAC GFR300-15G AirTAC Filter Regulator, G1/2, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15G is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built with a G1/2 (BSPP) port, the low-pressure regulator type, standard 40 um filtration and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. An embedded square gauge graduated in psi is fitted, a reverse/check valve is installed to hold downstream pressure, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale options and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fixture clamps and swing cylinders on an assembly cell need air cleaned of water and chips and held at a gentle, stable setpoint so parts are gripped without distortion. This low-pressure filter regulator with check valve keeps the clamp circuit conditioned and holds pressure if supply dips.
Carton formers and case sealers run banks of small cylinders and vacuum generators off a shared drop. A 1/2 inch filter regulator at the drop strips condensate and pipeline scale, and the psi gauge gives operators a visible setpoint during changeover.
Bench rigs and pilot test stands need instrument-quality air at a low, repeatable pressure. The low-pressure regulator type, 40 um filtration and square psi gauge let technicians set and read the supply, while the differential-pressure drain keeps the bowl clear through long runs.
Start with the port step: 300 size carries 1/2 inch ports, and the right size is the one whose published flow curve covers your worst-case air demand with margin - we will check that against the datasheet on request. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type, so confirm its regulation span suits your setpoint before ordering. The differential-pressure drain fitted here needs no daily manual action; choose automatic drain or manual drain variants if your duty or maintenance routine calls for them. Filtration is the standard 40 um grade; specify code W for 5 um where finer protection is needed. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread here is G (BSPP); PT is the standard and NPT is an order option. A bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as characteristic curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet curves before you order.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted. It lets you relieve upstream pressure without dumping the regulated downstream line, which is useful when isolating a machine for service while keeping the circuit charged.
