The AirTAC GFR300-15G AirTAC Filter Regulator, Low Pressure, G1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This unit is the 300 size with a 1/2 in G (BSPP) port, the low-pressure regulator type, a 40 um standard filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as the pressure differential across the bowl changes. The embedded square gauge is fitted with a psi scale, and the unit is supplied with a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options), drain type, filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional) and gauge scale. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the drop to a clamping or light-press station, the GFR300-15G cleans the shop air and holds a steady, lower-than-line regulated pressure so clamp cylinders act consistently cycle after cycle. The square psi gauge lets the setter read and verify the setpoint directly.
On a packaging or labelling line where actuators, grippers and blow-off nozzles run continuously, this filter regulator strips water and grit from the header supply and drops it to the pressure the line was set up for, with the differential-pressure drain clearing condensate without operator attention.
In plants that run dedicated low-pressure circuits - loom jet air, tank blanketing, low-pressure actuation - the low-pressure type regulator of this GFR300-15G is the intended match, filtering the supply and regulating within the low-pressure band while the psi gauge documents the setting.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is the 300 size with a 1/2 in G port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. This configuration is the low-pressure regulator type, so if your line runs at conventional working pressures, check with us that the low-pressure type suits the setpoint. The 40 um element is the standard grade; a 5 um element (code W) is available for finer filtration. Drain is differential-pressure as standard, with automatic and manual drain available in the family. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales are options. Thread is G (BSPP) here; PT is the standard thread and NPT is an order option. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing of the 300 size / 1/2 in G port against your demand before you order.
The L in the code marks this as the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits regulated below the conventional working-pressure band; the exact regulation range for the low-pressure type is not published in the material we hold, so confirm the setpoint with us on request. In all other respects the decode is standard for the family: 40 um filtration, differential-pressure drain, fitted square psi gauge, G1/2 port and included bracket.
