The AirTAC GFR300-15MC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-15MC2WTK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is the 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, the 5 um filter element (code W) for finer filtration than the standard 40 um, a manual drain for the polycarbonate bowl, a round external gauge reading in psi, a reverse/check valve fitted, and the mounting bracket included. It is a standard-type regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) and a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as standard and G or NPT as order options, with a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, and reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a pneumatically actuated press or clamping fixture: the 5 um element keeps fine particulate out of the valve stack and cylinder, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure so cycle force stays repeatable. The check valve holds the downstream setting if upstream supply dips.
Supplying the air side of a CNC machining centre - tool-change actuators, chip-clearing blasts and pneumatic clamps - with clean, regulated air at a stable setpoint, with the psi round gauge giving the operator a clear local pressure readout at the machine.
Regulating the air feeding diverters, pushers and bag-sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where the manual-drain bowl lets maintenance staff bleed accumulated condensate during scheduled changeovers and the 5 um grade protects the small control valves.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow you need; this unit is the 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT thread (PT is the standard thread, G and NPT are order options). Choose the drain to suit maintenance practice: manual (this unit) needs periodic draining by hand, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. Choose the 5 um element (this unit) when finer filtration is needed, or stay with the 40 um standard element for general-purpose air. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales (this unit: round, psi), and a reverse/check valve can be fitted to hold downstream pressure.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we cannot quote a rated flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet flow curves and help you check the 300 size against your requirement before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand, which suits lines with scheduled maintenance rounds; automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available if you prefer unattended draining. The K in the code means a reverse/check valve is fitted, which helps hold the downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted.
