The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/2 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T combines water-and-particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body, sized for 1/2 in NPT ports. This configuration carries the W-grade 5 um filter element for finer particle capture than the standard 40 um element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises, and an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in psi for direct downstream setting. The polycarbonate bowl (size 600 units use aluminium alloy) lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of a machining centre's solenoid valves and air bearings: the 5 um element keeps chips of scale and pipe rust out of the valve train while the regulator holds the actuation circuit at its set pressure.
Mounted at the drop feeding a packaging conveyor's clamp, stopper and lift cylinders, the unit removes condensed water from the main header and lets the line setter dial in the clamping pressure on the psi gauge without touching the plant regulator.
Installed on the branch line serving a manual assembly cell's air tools and fixtures, the filter regulator gives each cell its own stable, filtered supply independent of fluctuations elsewhere on the factory header.
Step up or down through the 200/300/400/600 sizes against the port and the flow your line needs - the 300 size with 1/2 in NPT ports sits in the middle of the range. Choose the 5 um W-grade element when downstream valves or instruments need finer protection than the standard 40 um element; the differential-pressure drain on this unit handles condensate without a manual routine, while automatic and manual drains are available in the family. Gauges come as the embedded square type (this unit in psi) with an external round gauge optional, and PT is the standard thread with G and NPT as order options; brackets are included on GFR units.
Because flow is published only as curves and not as a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and the flow your equipment needs and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request.
The standard element filters to 40 um, which suits general actuation. The W option on this unit filters to 5 um, giving finer protection for pilot valves, instruments and other sensitive downstream components. Both grades are catalogue options on the GFR300; this model is supplied with the 5 um element.
