The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit is fitted with 1/2 in NPT ports, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, standard 40 um filtration, a standard-type regulator with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, and an embedded square gauge reading in bar. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration, and no reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes and threads (PT standard; G and NPT as order options), automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, and gauge variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding the tool-change clamps and pneumatic actuators on a machining centre, with the automatic drain clearing condensate through shift changes.
Supply point for the diverters, sealers and pusher cylinders on a carton packaging line, where the regulator holds a steady setting for consistent cycle behaviour.
Main air drop into a control panel or manifold serving multiple valve islands, filtering water and debris before it reaches the downstream solenoid valves.
Start with the size and port: 300 is the mid-range of the GFR family (200/300/400/600), and the 15 position gives a 1/2 in port, so step up or down according to the air demand of the line. Then choose the drain: this unit has an automatic drain, but manual and differential-pressure drains are also available in the family. Filtration is 40 um as standard; specify the W code if the application needs 5 um. The embedded square gauge here reads in bar, with MPa and psi scales available as alternatives, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is standard and G is also offered. Brackets are optional on GFR. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this exact model before you order.
This configuration has an automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl without anyone opening it - useful where the unit is mounted in a less accessible spot. The GFR family is also offered with a manual drain or a differential-pressure drain; note that the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type (0.15-0.9 MPa for automatic and differential-pressure drains, 0.05-0.9 MPa for manual).
