The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is the size 300 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, the low-pressure regulator type, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain on the polycarbonate bowl, an external round gauge scaled in bar, a built-in reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of thread, drain type, filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge style and scale, and reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining cell where workpieces are held by air clamps running at reduced pressure, the GFR300-15T filters the supply water and particulate and holds the clamp circuit at the set low-pressure band, with the check valve holding the setting against supply dips.
Feeding the cylinder and valve manifold of a carton-forming packaging line, the unit cleans the shop air at the machine inlet and gives operators a local bar gauge and setpoint so the machine receives consistent, conditioned air.
On a distribution conveyor system with pneumatic diverters, pushers and stop stations, this filter regulator at the branch take-off keeps moisture and debris out of the valves and lets each branch run at its own regulated pressure.
Start with the port step: sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 map to larger ports and higher flow capacity, so size up if your line draws more air - then let us confirm the sizing against the published curves before you order. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit, drains on pressure drop), automatic, or manual. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W code for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round bar gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT (this unit) as order options; a bracket is included unless the J code is specified. This is the L low-pressure type, so confirm your working band suits a low-pressure regulator before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves for this exact configuration before you order.
L is the low-pressure regulator type, intended for applications regulated below the standard band - confirm your working pressure with us before ordering. The bowl on this unit uses a differential-pressure drain, which discharges collected condensate automatically on the pressure drop across the element, with no manual draining required.
