The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with 1/2 in NPT ports, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 40 um standard filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain to discharge collected condensate, which suits installations visited during routine checks. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um (code W) filter element where finer filtration is needed, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and an optional bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds a filtered, regulated air supply to the tool-change and clamping circuits on a CNC machining centre, with the manual drain bled during the operator's start-of-shift walkround.
Conditions the air feeding cylinder-driven carton forming and sealing heads on a packaging line, protecting valves from water and debris while holding a steady set pressure.
Installed at a 1/2 in take-off from a factory ring main to condition and regulate air for a work cell, with the round psi gauge giving a local reading of the set pressure.
Size and port: the 300 frame with 1/2 in NPT ports suits lines where the air drop is plumbed at 1/2 in; step up to the 400 or 600 frame if the circuit demands more flow, since flow is published as curves rather than a single rating and we will confirm sizing against your application. Drain: this unit has a manual drain, so choose it where an operator can bleed the bowl during checks; pick automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is tucked away or condensate loads are heavy. Filter grade: 40 um is standard; specify the W option for 5 um where finer protection is needed. Gauge: the round gauge here reads psi; MPa and bar scales are also available. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is ordered in NPT. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet figures for this unit on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR30015MC2T specifies a manual drain: an operator opens the bowl drain to discharge collected condensate. Choose manual where the unit is accessible and checked routinely; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is mounted out of reach or runs unattended.
