The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the size 300 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, the standard 40 um filter element, and a fitted check (reverse) valve that holds the set pressure if the upstream supply is lost. The external round gauge reads in bar, and the unit ships without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option (code W), square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G, NPT or PT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying clean, regulated air to a pneumatic press station: the 40 um element strips water and scale from the shop-air ring main, the regulator holds a steady set pressure for consistent forming strokes, and the check valve keeps the circuit pressurised during supply dips.
Feeding the air cylinders that divert, clamp and eject packs on a conveyor line. The 1/2 in NPT port matches the main drop leg to the machine, and the manual drain bowl lets maintenance bleed accumulated condensate during scheduled rounds.
Mounted at the air-preparation inlet of a CNC or assembly machine panel, where the round bar gauge gives operators a direct pressure readout, the filter protects directional valves and actuators from particulate, and the check valve prevents backflow from the machine circuit.
Step through the real choices before ordering. Size 300 with the 1/2 in port suits mid-range supply lines; move to size 400 or 600 if your line runs larger ports and higher demand, or down to size 200 for compact circuits. Drain type matters: the manual drain here needs periodic bleeding by an operator, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without intervention. The standard element is 40 um; specify code W for the 5 um grade where downstream valves and cylinders need finer protection. Gauges come as an embedded square type or an external round type, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries the round gauge in bar. Thread is NPT here; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also orderable. A bracket is optional (this code omits it), and code K adds the check valve fitted here.
Because rated flow is published only as curves, not a single number, send us your line conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
Code M is the manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain by hand, which suits machines on regular maintenance rounds. Automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are available on the same family if you want condensate handled without operator action. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
