The AirTAC GFR30008ALF1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008ALF1WT is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body, so one unit removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a set downstream pressure. This configuration is built with a 1/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element for finer particle capture than the standard 40 um grade, and an automatic drain that expels collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual attention. It is the low-pressure regulator type and comes with an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in MPa; a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G-series range, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, thread options PT, G and NPT, and drain, filter-grade, gauge and mounting choices. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures against your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to clamp and hold-down cylinders on a packaging line, where the 5 um element protects valve seals from particulate and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit between shifts.
Prepares the air feeding a robot cell's gripper and actuator circuit, combining water and particle removal with stable downstream pressure in one body so the compact cell panel needs one unit instead of two.
Sits at the bench drop feeding air to spray guns and air tools, where the 5 um element helps keep moisture and fine contamination out of the finish and the square MPa gauge lets the operator read supply pressure directly.
Choose the size step (200/300/400/600) and its matching port against the air demand of the circuit - the larger the size, the larger the port and the higher the flow capacity, with published curves used to size rather than a single rated figure. For this family you also select the drain: differential-pressure (default), automatic for unattended condensate rejection, or manual; the 5 um element (code W) when finer filtration than the standard 40 um is needed; the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar); the thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options); and whether a bracket is fitted. Because flow is published as curves rather than one rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or l/min number. Tell us your application and operating pressure and we will confirm the relevant datasheet figures on request before you order.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain, which rejects collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without operator attention. The alternatives in this series are the differential-pressure drain (the default) and a manual drain; the manual-drain variant also widens the standard regulator adjustment range, so choose it if you want the widest setting window and can drain by hand.
